Barkz uses a variety of training tools as each tool serves a unique purpose, allowing for tailored approaches to different behaviours, training goals, and dog temperaments. Using a range of tools enables more effective, flexible training that caters to a dog's individual needs and training stages, making sure we have the right tool to get the most out of your furry friend.
A two-in-one leash and collar combination designed to tighten around the dogs neck, applying pressure as a response to dogs pulling. Unlike a traditional flat collar and lead where all the pressure is applied to the front of the dogs neck impacting their throat and airways

Slip Leads
A small device that emits a clicking sound, used for positive reinforcement training. When a dog performs the desired behaviour, the clicker sound immediately marks the action, followed by a treat as a reward. The click is consistent and distinct, making it more effective than verbal praise alone and helps dogs quickly associate specific behaviours with positive outcomes.

An extended leash, 15 meters in length, that give dogs more freedom to explore while still under control. They’re useful for practising recall and obedience commands at increasing distances, safely allowing a dog to explore off-leash areas at a distance from their handler safely without the stress of your dog not coming back.
